the audit's sentence 'REPAIR_OK plus VERIFIED would have been printed' rested on cheats/arena.sh, not on rabadon-repair. run end to end with each corpus proposer in RABADON_CLAUDE_BIN against the corpus's own pristine-red checkouts: 10 families, 10 refused, 0 accepted, 0 held patches carrying the defect. two by the test lock, four by the harness lock, two by the held-out probe, one by the check staying red. the first pass through this runner is what surfaced the truncation bug above.
