overview / faq / The install didn't build the binary — what now?
npm i -g rabadon pulls a prebuilt @rabadon/<platform> binary on darwin-arm64, darwin-x64, linux-x64 and linux-arm64. Anywhere else, or when you install from source, the native core compiles on your machine, and that needs a C++ compiler:
clang++ or g++), then run rabadon doctor — it will point you at the make command to build the native core:
xcode-select --installsudo apt install g++ makeThen rabadon doctor should show native core built.
On the npm path the compile is a postinstall script, which modern npm may refuse by default; allowing the script for the rabadon package (--allow-scripts=rabadon) is the fix.
